I really love travelling. I think that if I wasn’t attending school, I would travel every month.
What is the holiday of your dreams? Mine is a LOONG journey across the world. Since I was a child I have dreamt of visiting London, I think it’s my favourite city in Europe. There are some cities that I absolute want to visit at least once in my life, and these are:
I think that my dream trip would be a holiday, where every one or two weeks I go to a new city, for example: one week in France, then the week later in England and so on. I’ve always dreamt of going on holiday with my friends, maybe after graduation- it will be fantastic to spend all this time together.
I can’t wait to visit cities where the culture is so different from mine, it will be fun to learn new things and also learn a new language, like Korean- it would be a good challenge for myself.
But during this journey a must would be a tour of the most important cities in the USA, for example Los Angeles, New York, Miami, Chicago, Washington... And also to visit Toronto, Kansas City… Omg there are so many cities that I don’t even know where to start! The only thing that I know is that it will be a fantastic journey that will last in my heart forever.
And what about you? Do you like travelling? Did you already go on some journeys across your country or abroad? Tell me!! See you soon <3
Depression, eat disorders…are all illnesses that are becoming ever more frequent among adolescents. The causes are many and sometimes it is difficult to defeat them – this is based on how serious they are – but it isn’t impossible.
To begin with…what is depression and what is an eating disorder?
Depression is a serious problem that lot of people – the majority are teenagers – go through. There are lot of reasons for it; I’m not a doctor I don’t know the technical names so here you can find the definition.
As I said before, it’s difficult to defeat it but NOT impossible. If you think you suffer from depression or you have some symptoms talk in the first place with you parents and then with a psychologist and they will help you.
Eating disorders are any of a range of psychological disorders characterized by abnormal or disturbed eating habits. The most common above all in womens are: anorexia, bulimia and binge eating disorder but you can learn more here.
Eating disorders, as depression or other mental diseases are very serious and you must fight against them before it’s too late to do it.
I’m going through this too and I know that you might think you will never get out of this tunnel but I promise there is always the light at the end of it even if you don’t see it now.
How can we defeat them?
There are many ways to defeat them, regarding depression; I read some articles on the internet written by doctors, where they say to do what you enjoy doing, things which you stopped doing maybe because of your mental condition. I can’t hide that to write this article I spent more than 2 weeks because I couldn’t find the power to do it but now I’m here!
I know it’s hard, but I’m with youin this fight and I’m sure you will make it. Start with one little thing at time. One thing that has always been with me is music, especially one of my favourite artists; I believe that music has a special power in our lives and we must use it to feel good.
I think another thing that will help you are your friends. Everytime I stay with them I forget all the bad things, everything that makes me feel bad and I try to have a great time with them… Sometimes we start laughing without a reason and I think that is the best part, they are pure seretonin.
If we talk about the eating disorders, it’s a little bit more complicated. Personally, I don’t suffer from anorexia or bulimia but from a binge eating disorder instead.
What I recommend to you is to always talk with your parents and then with a psychologist and with a nutritionist. I have a friend that suffers from anorexia and now is recovering from DCA , and when I talked to her she told me that she has some goals that she wants to reach now; of course sometimes along this path she has fallen down but she always stood up again with her head held high. So maybe you can also do like her and write a list of goals that you want to reach so you can start to fight to make it.
I want to remind you that you are stronger than your illness. You can do it and I believe in you. YOU ARE STRONG 💜🎗.
MY STORY…
Everything started last summer, when my mum told me my grandad had cancer.
I am very attached to him so for me, everything fell apart; from there the darkest period of my life started.
Then in March it became even worse for problems related to myself and some of my friends. I started not eating much or eating too much, staying all day in bed without any motivation to get up. It was awful because I felt useless and my parents didn’t understand what was going on.
But then I met my best friend Giulia who brought some light in my dark world. I’m still fighting against it- sometimes it’s hard but I force myself and get up, for my grandparents, because they are my power.
I told you my story, please be kind because it isn’t very easy for me to talk about my private life.
What about you? Do you suffer from mental illnesses? Tell me your story! If you want you can write to me on my social media.
Remember: you are strong, you’ll make it, you’ll see the light at the end of the tunnel. I’m proud of you xx -ale
I’m so excited to write this post and talk about my favourite TV-Series.
I’m sure you all have heard the name of this Tv-Series at least once in your life because it’s so popular. Its name is “La Casa De Papel” (“Money Heist“). There are 5 seasons of it and it’s about a team, where all the members have names of cities (Tokyo, Nairobi, Berlin, Rio, Helsinki etc). Guided by a man named “The Professor”, they carry out a very ambitious plan, the biggest robbery in history at the “Royal Mint of Spain”.
On December 3rd, 2021 the last 5 episodes of the last season were released (5th season). I was very surprised by the end of it because I thought the final of this Tv-series was totally the opposite but I really liked it. But my absolutely favourite part is the end of the 2nd season.
It is a Tv-series that includes action and drama. This is the first series I watched during the 1st lockdown and I got very attached to it and to three of the main characters: Tokyo, played by Úrsula Corberó, Nairobi played by Alba Flores and Rio played by Miguel Herrán.
I recommend it to people over 12 years old because it has some particular scenes that may be too your sensitive. I myself was a little upset watching some scenes but I really liked it.
I study Spanish at school and since the mother tongue of the series is Spanish, I watched it in the original language and it was really useful for me, I also learned new words!
What’s your favourite Tv-series? Do you like “LA CASA DE PAPEL”? Tell me in the comments and be 100% honest!
I’m not a very sporty person. In fact, I’m a little bit lazy but a sport that I like doing is dance. I used to go to dance classes for a couple of years when I was 10 years old, so it was my way to feel free and sometimes also let off steam when I was upset.
I don’t practice dance anymore and I don’t compete of course but I do it for fun! This is one of my favourite ways to get fit because it’s above all fun of course.
Maybe you will ask: “How can you get fit by just dancing?”Actually I listen to some K-pop groups and they also post their dance practices and I just follow their moves.
But this isn’t the only thing I do to get fit, I do some workouts too! There are lots of videos on Youtube.
I recommend the ones of Lilly Sabri, Chloe Ting and Pamela Reif– they are fantastic! But I also do some “Total body dance workouts” like the one linked here.
This is what I do to get fit, I often enjoy working out with my friends because I think it’s more fun- maybe with some good music in the background.
Here is my playlist for when I work out, if you want you can check it out!
And now, what about you? Are you a sporty person? What sport do you enjoy doing or watching on TV? Is my post useful for you? Tell me in the comments!
The 23rd May was the 30th anniversary of the Magistrate Giovanni Falcone who sacrificed his life to the fight against the mafia. So many people fought and still fight today against these criminal organisations, and have lost their lives to struggle for justice and peace, for example, apart from Giovanni Falcone, Peppino Impastato, Pio La Torre, and Carlo Alberto Dalla Chiesa . https://www.skuola.net/educazione-civica-medie/lotta-mafie-vittime-provvedimenti.html
Obviously it is not easy to defeat the mafia and I think it will take time to do it; it’s also dangerous for our lives but if we are sure of what we believe in, we can change the history of our society and our government. Together we can make the difference.
The meaning of this quote is that if we want to realize our dreams, we have to believe in ourselves, believe in our abilities and in want we can do, because only in this way can we become who we dream of or do what we dream.
This quote is really important for me, because it reminds me not to give up and continue fighting for my dreams. These days so many teenagers are not supported by their parents or relatives if they want to follow a dream, including me, so I believe that this quote gives you the power to continue on your way even when no one believes in you.
This quote makes me feel more confident in my self and in what I dream of doing. I would like to become a detective or a policewoman, so lots of people think that this is not appropriate work for a girl; but thanks to this quote, I continue to believe in my big dream, and hope to realize it one day.
I chose it because Walt Disney reminds me of my childhood and has a special place in my heart, definitely. He is very important to me and I hope this quote can help lots of other people.
